Due to the snowstorm, my stay in O’Connell’s has been pushed back to tomorrow (Wednesday April 1st). No this isn’t a joke, there will be some serious Wii going down and also any other game or activity the crowd wants to play. Feel free to bring your own game, a friend, and your student ID!

The Peanut Butter Italian Soda

...not the best in a drink...

So in addition to all these delicious foods, I tried the Peanut Butter Italian Soda. It is one of those drinks that is ordered maybe once a year, and probably for the same reason I ordered it, out of curiosity. Well, I believe I can help anyone by saying that this drink was unappetizing. Imagine a runny peanut butter slushy with ice. Yea, go to O’Conn’s; don’t order the peanut butter soda.

The Strawberry Banana Smoothie

For dessert, I had a strawberry banana smoothie. This was one of the best smoothies I have had in awhile. Perfect amount of strawberry and banana and a great consistency. Yes, O’Connell’s does sell things other than coffee. They also have two pool tables, dart boards, open mic night on Mondays, a Wii, and extremely comfortable leather seating. A great place to do your homework and grab a snack anytime. Again, the smoothie was so good, the only picture I have is of the empty cup…

Another Meal (Breakfast Sandwich)

The Breakfast Sandwich is one of O’Connell’s best. I ordered mine on a bagel with ham, cheese, and green peppers. It was delicious. You can also have it on a croissant, with bacon or sausage, and sans peppers. I forgot to take a picture of it since it was so amazing, but I will try to grab one sometime soon. Until then, go flex a breakfast sandwich at O’Connell’s, it is well worth it.

The Samoa Frappe

O'Connell's Girl Scout Cookie drank

So for dessert, I had O’Connell’s Samoa Frappe. This is a drink based on the Samoa Girl Scout Cookie. It is amazing. I talked to at least four other people who ordered the same thing tonight and all agreed on it’s excellence.

A delicious O'Conn's Burger

My first meal at O’Conn’s was a burger and onion rings. Both were delicious to say the least, but the best part was that I was able to flex it. I didn’t need to spend additional money, but money I had already spent on my meal plan. It was a small price to pay for a great meal. See the picture above. On Monday we will be having Pool and Darts competitions all day. Stop by and test your skill!

So here’s the premise;
I will “live” in O’Connell’s from Sunday the 29th until Tuesday the 31st. This is to promote everything about O’Connell’s, the food, drinks, games, atmosphere, and friends! So please stop by anytime.

This blog will review a majority of what I consume during these days (I will try to reach everything on the menu so that there is a sense of what they offer; it is A LOT!). So watch for posts on food, announcements, and tournament invitations (we will be playing Wii, Pool, Darts, and even computer games).

Remember, you can come to O’Connell’s even when I’m not there! Surprising I know haha. And feel free to FLEX, not charge, for your food and drink.
